Overview
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer on a contract basis to design, build, and extend enterprise-grade solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be a Power Platform expert with proven capabilities in Pro-code development, particularly integrating with Azure services, developing custom connectors, and extending the Power Platform using C# and JavaScript.
This is a fully remote opportunity working with a high-performing team delivering business-critical applications to a diverse stakeholder group.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI
• Extend platform functionality using custom connectors, Azure Functions, C# plug-ins, and JavaScript
• Lead integration with external systems via APIs, Dataverse, Azure Service Bus, and Logic Apps
• Optimize existing Power Platform solutions, implementing best practices around performance, security, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including solution architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Mentor junior developers and advise on technical design and architectural decisions
Key Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft development technologies, including .NET and Azure
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Power Platform, including advanced Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
• Strong experience developing custom connectors, plug-ins, and integrations using C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of Dataverse/CDS, relational data modeling, and security roles
• Experience deploying solutions using ALM best practices, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and Azure API Management
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure are highly desirable
Contract Details:
• Location: Fully Remote (US-based candidates only)
• Engagement: W-2 or C2C, depending on preference
• Duration: 6 months with high potential for extension
