Senior Oracle Developer / Contract / Hybrid

Hays are now looking for 4x Senior Oracle Developers on a contract basis.

Day Rate: £305 p/d Inside IR35

Hybrid Working: 1-2 days a week in the office, rest WFH

Location: Glasgow

In the role, you will have strong experience in PL/SQL and Oracle Database 19C to lead analysis, design, and development efforts. This role will involve direct collaboration with architects, mentoring of junior developers, and driving the technical direction of database projects.
• Lead the analysis and design of database solutions by working closely with solution architects and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs), and develop, review, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL code.
• Lead the database development on Oracle 19C.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
• Lead code reviews whilst ensuring that development practices follow industry standards and project requirements.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) independently, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Provide technical expertise during planning sessions and collaborate on design decisions.
