

Senior Data Scientist – Azure AI & Generative AI Platforms
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with 10+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML, and a strong focus on Microsoft Azure technologies. This role requires hands-on expertise in Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, and LLM-based tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.
You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics and generative AI solutions that are scalable, compliant, and impactful across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and deploy machine learning and generative AI models using:
Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML)
Azure OpenAI Service (e.g., GPT, Codex, Embeddings)
Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake
Fine-tune and prompt-engineer LLMs for use in copilots, chatbots, and intelligent automation.
Develop AI copilots, natural language interfaces, and integrate ChatGPT APIs into enterprise applications.
Use Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate with Dataverse to deliver data-driven and AI-enabled business solutions.
Operationalize ML models with MLOps pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Work with cross-functional teams to convert business challenges into data solutions with measurable ROI.
Ensure all AI/ML solutions follow enterprise governance and Responsible AI standards.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI solution architecture.
Certified: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (Azure ML certification).
Expertise in:
Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks, Synapse
Programming with Python, SQL, and libraries like scikit-learn, Transformers, TensorFlow, PyTorch
Developing LLM-driven tools using ChatGPT, embedding models, semantic search, and RAG pipelines
Experience in prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Cognitive Search), and model deployment.
Strong understanding of AI governance, privacy, model explainability, and compliance frameworks.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with LangChain, MLflow, GitHub Copilot, or custom LLM integrations.
Experience building AI copilots, intelligent assistants, or low-code AI workflows with Power Platform.
Background working with Azure Government Cloud, healthcare, financial services, or federal agencies.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or related field.
