Sr. Data Quality Analyst

 Location: Remote, with travel required to VA facilities. The estimated start date is late April 2025, with one base year and four option years.

 EM Key Solutions, Inc. (EMKS) is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Quality (DQ) Analyst with formal clinical education and extensive experience supporting clinical data quality, ideally at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position requires an individual with a strong background in data quality, data governance, and data stewardship, as well as clinical experience.

  Duties/Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact between VA leadership and the program team. Facilitate regular communication, status updates, and program reviews with key stakeholders.

  Analyze and validate clinical data sets within the VA's Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., VistA, Cerner Millennium).

  Develop, document, and refine business rules and requirements tied to clinical workflows, performance reporting, and hospital accreditation standards.

  Collaborate with VA stakeholders on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and clinical data validation efforts.

  Participate in VA Data Governance Boards, Data Stewardship Councils, and Quality Review Panels.

  Ensure alignment with federal regulations, including HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and VA Handbook 6500.

  Review and improve clinical data artifacts such as BRDs, NSRs, and EDMs for accuracy and traceability.

  Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.

Required Qualifications:

Formal Clinical Education, specifically on of:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

    Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

    Doctor of Nursing Science (DNS)

    D. in Nursing

    Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)

    Licensed Physician Assistant (PA)

Minimum 10 years of healthcare experience, with at least 5 years focused on clinical data quality or health informatics.

  Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR), ideally VA systems (VistA, Cerner).

  Subject matter expertise in electronic clinical quality reporting, hospital accreditation bodies, and implementation of clinical data quality principles in a large-scale EHR.

  Prior experience supporting VA or other federal healthcare agencies.

  Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance environment for requirements like those in this statement of work.

  Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to technical, clinical, and senior Government officials.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 10 years' experience and hold, at a minimum, a Bachelor' Degree and have specific experience in health care analytics and proficiency with an electronic health record (EHR).

Clearance:

 Active public trust or higher.
