Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Cloud services, SQL databases, and proven expertise as a Database Administrator, particularly in data migration. Responsibilities:

   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems

   • Manage and optimize AWS Cloud services to support data infrastructure

   • Work with SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security

   • Lead data migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

   • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and reliability

Requirements

   • Experience in AWS Cloud Services

   • Experience working with SQL Databases

   • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with specific experience in data migration

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
