Role description

Senior Data Engineer - 2 Year Contract - Remote, PST - W2 ONLY, NO C2C or OPT EADs

Summary:

We have an immediate need for a Senior Data Engineer to join a forward-thinking project, focused on large-scale data transformation and modernization. Join a dynamic environment where your skills in ETL, cloud technologies, and data architecture will directly influence high-impact initiatives.

Requirements:

   • Minimum 7 years of experience developing ETL solutions using tools like SSIS, SAS DI Studio, AWS Glue, and Lambda.

   • Proven experience in SQL development and data translation across versions, with strong expertise in database design and security.

   • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Snowflake, including infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

   • Strong proficiency in developing and securing REST APIs using JSON, Python, and C#.

   • Prior leadership in data conversion/migration projects involving legacy systems (IBM Mainframe) and large modernization budgets ($50M+).
