Senior Data Engineer - Power BI Expert

We are looking for a Sr. Data Engineer (Power BI Specialist) - Remote Roles – Must be currently living in CST and EST time zones

Duration: 6+ months with possibility of longer term extensions

Pay Rate open – W2 only

No C2C, H1B, 1099, TN Visa, F1 - CPT or OPT at this time.

Must have expertise in Power BI to develop and optimize data models, build dashboards, and enable data-driven decision-making in Sales and Revenue environment

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Data Model Design:

Develop and optimize Power BI data models for efficient reporting.

Design snowflake schema models for high-performance dashboards.

Create DAX measures and calculations for complex reporting needs.

Reporting & Visualization:

Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI.

Ensure clean, structured data for visualizations.

Support real-time reporting by integrating live data feeds.

Data Infrastructure & Automation:

Work with data engineering teams to ensure data accessibility.

Automate recurring reporting and analysis tasks.

Assist the commercial team in building custom reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Power BI development and data modeling.

Experience with DAX, Power Query, and SQL for data transformation.

Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake and/or other databases.

Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, C4C) and sales performance data.

Experience working with Sales and Revenue data.
