Our client is a globally recognized private investment firm, managing around $150 billion in diverse assets across private equity, credit, public equity, real estate, and venture capital.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Engineer to join the Capital Markets data team on a 6-12 month contract. This position is central to architecting, optimizing, and implementing advanced cloud-based data solutions with a focus on Snowflake and dbt. The successful candidate will drive the firm’s data platform strategy, enhancing data accessibility and supporting data-driven investment decisions. This role involves close collaboration with portfolio managers, traders, and analysts, providing a valuable opportunity to gain deep insights into the investment management process.

In this role, you will design scalable Snowflake data architectures, build and maintain robust data pipelines, and manage data transformations in dbt. You’ll work directly with investment stakeholders to align these data solutions with strategic goals. This includes offering technical leadership, contributing to the ongoing cloud migration, and ensuring secure, high-quality data engineering practices. Experience with cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and advanced data architecture is essential, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
