Title : Senior Business Intelligence Developers
Location: 100% Remote
Term: 1+ Year
Responsibilities:
You will monitor and maintain the performance of cloud-based data warehouses and data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query performance. You will also work closely with business analysts to understand their requirements and design models that enable effective reporting and analysis.
Develop data pipelines to extract, load, and transform data from various sources into cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
Design and implement data processing workflows that are highly optimized for their cloud-native environment.
Collaborate with developers, data architects, and business analysts to design and implement scalable and reliable data products on cloud platforms.
Assist with monitoring and maintaining the performance of cloud-based data warehouses and data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and optimize query performance
Skills Required:
Mandatory:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• 3 + years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
• 3 or more years of designing, developing and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software.
·Experience with Cloud Platform services such as Azure
• Experience working with DevOps pipelines continuous integration/delivery, and automated testing (unit, functional, performance)
• Expert coding skills in Python, SQL and knowledge of software engineering principles around testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• Demonstrated experience using Databricks, Pyspark and python
Desirable:
• Experience in data modeling and Data transformation technologies such as dbt will be an asset.
• Database architecture, design, implementation, and operations experience is an asset.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence visualization software like Microsoft Power BI, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, etc. is a desirable asset
