Sr. Data Science Analyst (Digital Banner Ad Pricing)

Great opportunity to with an industry-leading Fortune 50 client!

You will perform data-driven analysis to determine affiliate partner banner ad pricing for Ad serving. You will be tasked with building pricing algorithms for the ads as well as building dashboards & analytics tools.

This is 12-month initial contract (potential to extend or convert).

You can work 100% remotely, but must work EST hours.

Candidates based in EST/CST time zones are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Translate data into insights, actions, & recommendations
• Build pricing algorithms
• Perform data analytics with large data sets in order to determine optimal banner ad pricing based on data-driven analyses
• Pull, manipulate, & organize data via Python
• Apply filters & makes sense of Tableau dashboards in order to tell a story with the data, identify key insights, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engg., UX, Product Mgmt.) to create solutions
• Analyze & visualize output of forecasting models, making sense of it for the business

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Retail, E-commerce, Digital Advertising/Marketing, Pricing, or Financial analysis experience
• Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries from scratch, stored procs, etc.)
• Strong Python skills (building models)
• Experience building ML Algorithms (Regression or Forecasting)
• Experience in collecting, organizing, & analyzing data to gain new understanding & insights
• Experience in communicating complex ideas to both technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience in finding correlations/trends to drive data-driven recommendations
• Data visualization skills in Excel (required) & Tableau (preferred) or Power BI
• Experience with tools including JIRA & Git
