Senior AI Engineer
Contract to Hire role with Fortune 100 Bank.
Location ideally – Remote - EST work hours
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Architect to join a growing team within the KYC department with a financial client of ours. In this critical role, you will play a key part in driving the bank's AI initiatives, with a specific focus on enhancing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence processes through the power of Generative AI.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research and experimentation with various Generative AI models (LLMs, foundation models) to identify and evaluate potential solutions for KYC/CDD challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders) to understand their needs and translate them into actionable AI solutions.
• Design and develop AI-powered solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, and other relevant platforms.
• Define and document technical requirements, system architecture, and integration plans for AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless integration of AI models into existing applications and workflows.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML and their potential applications within the financial services industry.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with AI implementation, including data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation within the AI team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or Azure AI.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and their integration with applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of data engineering and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
