

SAS Analyst
An electric utility client is looking for a SAS Data Analyst to support Customer Generation Programs (CGP) using data visualization skills, solution building, development, and oversight of CGP dashboards.
Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 (Hybrid)
Position: SAS Data Analyst
Pay Rate: $35/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The position will be responsible for supporting Customer Generation Programs (CGP) using data visualization skills, solution building, development, and oversight of CGP dashboards.
• In this position, you will be consulting with clients and leadership to drive strategic data-informed decisions by creating intuitive dashboards, and on-demand data views, and translating the data into actionable intelligence.
• Other duties responsible but are not limited to devising accurate steps to enhance the effectiveness of Renewal Energy Programs and Incentives and make recommendations based on critical performance data analysis.
• Beyond data-related tasks, this role is vital to the success of regulatory compliance programs, providing key thought to Interconnection and Incentives program members to provide data-driven recommendations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• The skill set left by the incumbent in running data analysis, gathering data and providing queries generated from SAS.
• Analytical experience deriving critical insights from large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization applications, tools such SAS Visual Analytics, PowerBI and intermediate experience with standard Microsoft platform applications.
• 5 years' experience using MS platform (includes Power BI) and applications. Must test of provided certification of MS expertise
• Experience with SAP - preference is customer and billing modules
• Reporting communicating data for stakeholder's that need data from a periodic basis from a different data sourcing.
• Providing procedures for validation of data accuracy.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Experience in data warehousing and extraction tools, technical data concepts, design, data engineering, and statistical forecasts.
• Database development experience using BOBJ = Business Objects, Alteryx, Snowflake (internal only - SAS is a backend tools used to get info from SAP), SAP, and/or SAS Enterprise Guide.
• To improve the workflow to automate the design procedures and efficiencies.
• Must be a team player who actively contributes to meetings and discussions and brings creative/innovative ideas for process improvements.
