We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Data Sphere Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in our growing data initiatives.

Job Summary:

As an SAP Data Sphere Specialist at Connected X Inc., you will be responsible for driving the integration and optimization of SAP Data Sphere in collaboration with Snowflake. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Data Sphere to design, deploy, and maintain data solutions while ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between SAP and Snowflake environments.

You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate data exchange, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. This position will require strong technical skills, a deep understanding of both SAP Data Sphere and Snowflake, and the ability to act as a liaison between various business functions and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

   • Integration and Coordination:

   • Lead the integration of SAP Data Sphere with Snowflake, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization between the platforms.

   • Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and other technical teams to define data requirements, map data sources, and troubleshoot integration issues.

   • Coordinate with Snowflake administrators to ensure data models, transformations, and performance optimization strategies align with business needs.

   • Solution Design and Implementation:

   • Design and implement SAP Data Sphere solutions that meet business requirements for data governance, data integration, and data analytics.

   • Develop data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and automation frameworks to ensure data consistency, quality, and availability across platforms.

   • Data Management and Optimization:

   • Monitor and optimize the performance of the SAP Data Sphere and Snowflake environment, including query optimization, data storage, and cost management.

   • Implement best practices for data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance standards across the SAP and Snowflake ecosystems.

   • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

   • Serve as the point of contact between SAP and Snowflake teams, ensuring alignment with organizational data strategy and objectives.

   • Provide training and support to business users and stakeholders, helping them understand the value and capabilities of SAP Data Sphere and Snowflake for their data needs.

   • Troubleshooting and Support:

   • Diagnose and resolve data integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and platform-related challenges.

   • Provide ongoing support for post-deployment issues, and assist with system upgrades and patches.

   • Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, data pipelines, and technical configurations.

   • Generate regular reports and status updates for management and stakeholders on project progress and system performance.

Qualifications:

   • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP Data Sphere, Snowflake, or data management are a plus.

Experience:

   • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP Data Sphere, including integration, data modeling, and performance tuning.

   • Proven experience working with Snowflake for data warehousing, integration, and optimization.

   • Strong understanding of data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and data security practices.

   • Technical Skills:

   • Expertise in SAP Data Sphere data models, virtual data warehouse management, and integration patterns.

   • Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, SQL, SnowSQL, and Snowflake integrations.

   • Proficiency in data integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, DBT, or similar technologies.

   • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, DataStage).

   • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

   • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

   • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

   • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

   • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
