Job Description
Job Title: SAP Analytics Cloud Planning w/ BPC Consultant
Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite 5 days/week)
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop end-to-end planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and SAP BPC, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Collaborate with finance and other business stakeholders to thoroughly understand their current planning processes, identify pain points, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for SAC and BPC.
• Develop and maintain robust and efficient data models within SAC and BPC, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
• Design and develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations in SAC to provide actionable insights to business users.
• Configure and customize SAC Planning and BPC systems, including defining planning layouts, business rules, workflows, and security settings.
• Develop and implement data integration processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems (e.g., SAP ECC, BW, other databases) into SAC and BPC.
• Actively participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Provide ongoing technical support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and SAP BPC.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, including IT professionals and business analysts.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions.
• Deep understanding of financial planning principles and processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Proven experience in designing and developing data models, data integration processes, and reporting solutions within SAC and BPC.
• Strong technical proficiency in SAC Planning, including data models, input templates, allocations, calculations, versions, and security.
• Solid understanding of BPC technical aspects, including data models (classic and embedded), dimensions, members, script logic, business rules, and data manager packages.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes and tools relevant to SAP systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to 1 both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• SAP certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and/or SAP BPC.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA.
• Experience working in the utilities industry.
