If you are an advanced professional as a SaaS Cloud Information Security Consultant and looking to join a medium sized Cloud SaaS provider to financial institution's crypto currency strategy, we are accepting applications ASAP for a quick start date for this long term Consultant level role. THIS WILL BE A FULLY REMOTE ROLE but only for candidates in the EST or CST time zones in the US. This will be an 80% responsibility of day to day, hands on execution of engineering/administrator tasks and 20% strategy vision.
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a SaaS Cloud Information Security Consultant in the Cryptocurrency industry, located in New York. As a SaaS Cloud Information Security Consultant, you will be tasked with developing a comprehensive cloud security strategy, implementing and managing security controls, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and educating internal teams on best practices and risks.
Responsibilities
• Develop a cloud security strategy that aligns with business objectives and follows industry best practices
• Identify and evaluate potential cloud security risks and vulnerabilities
• Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards for SaaS environments
• Implement and oversee cloud security controls, such as access controls, encryption, and monitoring tools
• Conduct periodical security audits and assessments of SaaS applications and infrastructure
• Monitor cloud security logs and events, identifying any suspicious activity
• Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, implementing solutions to resolve them
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
• Maintain detailed documentation and records related to cloud security activities
• Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and ensure data protection
• Educate and update internal teams on cloud security best practices and risks
• Stay informed about the latest cloud security threats and technologies, providing guidance to other teams when necessary.
Requirements
• Deep understanding of and experience with SaaS Cloud.
• Proven skills in AWS Technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Cryptocurrency industry is required.
• Demonstrated ability in Cyber Security.
• Must be a Detail Oriented Cloud Security Individual (CCSP).
• Experience in Application Security is necessary.
• Proficiency in Information - Network Security.
• Expertise in Endpoint Security is required.
• Must have experience in Identity Management.
• Experience in Major Incident Management is a must.
