About the Role

Our client is looking for a Platform & Revenue Data Analyst to analyze and document revenue streams, support platform reconciliations, and enhance revenue recognition processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of accounting subledgers and product structures. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Product, and Technology teams to drive process efficiency and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and document accounting logic for revenue streams, working closely with Finance and Product teams.
• Analyze revenue data streams, including discount offerings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform reconciliations between order flows, revenue recognition, payment processes, and accounting subledgers.
• Map end-to-end financial data flows, identifying risks, cost insights, and process improvements.
• Ensure accurate financial data capture during product launches and platform changes.
• Create clear documentation for financial and operational processes.
• Support compliance with IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition) and assist with audit requests.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making and process enhancements.
• Work with Finance, Group Reporting, Product, and Technology teams to optimize workflows.

What You Bring
• Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4+ years in revenue accounting, financial data analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Google Sheets, and Excel for data querying and analysis.
• Experience with accounting subledgers and financial data flows (Workday preferred).
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to document and communicate complex processes clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective cross-team collaboration and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and engage with Product & Tech teams.

Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience with revenue recognition and payment platform reconciliations.
• Understanding of product-led revenue models and accounting integrations.
• Background in fast-paced, global, or e-commerce environments.
