Reporting & Insights Analyst

6-month Fixed Term contract

£40,000 - £42,000 DOE

Priory Park, Bedford / Hybrid

We are looking for x2 Reporting & Insights Analyst to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract supporting with a company-wide Tech and Transformation project.

This role is a business support role to provide information, reporting and insights to enable data led decisions. You will work as part of the wider Reporting & Insights team to produce specific reports and deliver adhoc requests for key information.

We want to empower users to exploit the reporting and data we provide to better understand our business performance and to highlight opportunities for growth or risks to mitigate. You will be responsible for maintaining reporting and the relationships with business stakeholders to ensure business users have the right information at the right time.

This role also focusses on supporting the transformation of the existing tech bonus scheme and process, as we migrate from old to new solutions. This involves significant data & process validations on a weekly / monthly basis throughout the transformation rollout period.

Accountabilities And Responsibilities

Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be to:
• Produce and distribute regular business reports using Power BI to relevant functions and key stakeholders using a problem-solving approach to gathering the data, develop the reports and drive adoption.
• Providing ad hoc reporting and insights to stakeholders using Power BI and data within the Snowflake database.
• Analyse business data, identify risks and opportunities to inform business decisions.
• Enable story telling through data and visualisations to simplify information for decision making.
• Drive exception reporting, to focus information into actionable insights.
• Become SME on business data and how to exploit it, whilst always maintaining stringent levels of data integrity and trust.
• Manage deadlines and priorities so that stakeholder requests are delivered to schedule, whilst maintaining standards of information delivery and data integrity.
• Contribute to the development of actionable insight by capturing requirements and developing reports that provide self-service solutions to enable the tracking of performance KPI’s across the business.
• Provide training and support on reports developed to the business teams to enable user adoption, data driven decisions. Champion the adoption and exploitation of data within the Power BI solutions developed.
• Be a point of contact for answering queries and clarifications from stakeholders, including managing day-to-day relationships. Be able to explain the content of the reports and provide guidance on report functionality. This will require a good understanding of the source data & systems, along with knowledge of the business processes used and actions taken from data provided.
• Work with stakeholders to understand potential future requirements and requests, develop pipelines of demand based on delivering tangible business value.
• Maintain documentation of projects, report development, metrics and processes.
• Work alongside the UK Data Engineering team and the DLD (Global data team) to always ensure we work to a single version of the truth when providing data, reporting and insights.
• Provide process and analytical support during the transformation of the existing tech bonus scheme to the new solution.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications
• Extensive experience developing with Power BI
• Excel / Power Query proficiency
• Knowledge / experience using JIRA
• SQL / Snowflake proficiency
• Business & data analysis skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
