REMOTE - Lead AI Engineer (W2 Only)

Our client is searching for a Lead AI Engineer for a contract-to-hire position that can be worked remotely.

All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis.

Description

Our client is looking to hire an AI Engineer within their Data Analytics enterprise to develop and customize AI solutions to align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. The AI Engineer will work closely with the AI Product Manager to lead the technical aspects of AI projects. This role involves evaluating and implementing AI solutions, customizing vendor-provided features, and leading the development of scaling AI pilots. The ideal candidate will have deep AI knowledge, technical proficiency and the ability to work across diverse portfolios including clinical, clinical research, and administration/operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Technical Leadership: Lead the technical implementation of AI projects, ensuring effective and efficient execution.

Vendor Solution Evaluation: Assess AI features provided by vendors to ensure they meet organizational needs and standards.

Customization and Enhancement: Customize and enhance vendor-provided AI features as required.

Scaling AI Pilots: Support the transition of AI use cases from pilot phases (3 to 6 months) to full-scale implementation.

Team Building: Build and lead a team to support ongoing AI initiatives.

Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across clinical, administrative, operations, and research portfolios to align AI projects with strategic goals.

Consulting and Upskilling: Provide guidance on upskilling existing team members and potentially work with consultants during the transition period.

Required Background

Experience: Proven experience in AI development and implementation, with a strong technical background.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, and familiarity with AI tools and frameworks.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and improve AI solutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Ethical Considerations: Understanding of ethical issues related to AI and commitment to ensuring AI solutions are safe and beneficial.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125.00 - $140.00/hr.
