About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect / Principal Data Engineer IV with expertise in AFS or Loan systems, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Engineering. This role involves designing and implementing scalable data architectures, optimizing database solutions, and supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Design & Implement Database Solutions – Develop robust data models and optimize storage solutions.
✅ Data Migration & Integration – Oversee migration from legacy systems to modern data platforms.
✅ Performance Optimization – Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new features.
✅ Compliance & Security – Ensure database solutions meet internal and external regulations.
✅ Cross-functional Collaboration – Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
✔ AFS or Loan Background – Mandatory
✔ Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Engineering
✔ DBT & Snowflake – 4-5 years of experience
✔ SQL & Data Warehousing – Strong proficiency
✔ Cloud & Distributed Computing – Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems
✔ ETL & Data Pipelines – Experience with commercial ETL tools
✔ Programming – Knowledge of Java, SQL, C, PHP
✔ Version Control & DevOps – Experience with major version control systems, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
✔ API & Big Data Technologies – REST API design, metadata management, and visualization tools
✔ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience
🔹 Experience in data mining, segmentation techniques, and database security best practices
