Areti Group are working with a leading global technology solutions provider that specializes in data and analytics. They are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join their team for a 6-month contract. This remote-based role focuses on developing impactful Power BI dashboards, connecting to multiple data sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Role Overview:

As a Power Platform Developer your main responsibility will be the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, providing key business insights. You will work closely with data teams and stakeholders to ensure data is gathered effectively, integrate various data sources, and collaborate with the network and architecture teams to gain access to protected and secure data sources. Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps will be beneficial for supporting broader Power Platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring they provide actionable business insights.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and deliver tailored Power BI reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data teams to source and integrate data from multiple platforms.
• Connect to and manage data sources, including those requiring secure access, collaborating with network and architecture teams.
• Work with Power Automate and Power Apps to integrate and automate workflows within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues related to Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all reporting outputs.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in developing Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
• Expertise in integrating data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, etc.).
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders for successful BI solutions.
• Strong communication skills to work with data, network, and architecture teams for secure data access.
• SQL proficiency for querying and managing data.
• Azure experience, particularly with Azure Data Services, is highly desirable.
• Power Platform certifications are a plus, with the PL-300 Power BI certification being highly desirable.

Desirable:
• PL-300 Power BI certification or other relevant Power Platform certifications.
• Previous experience working with large data sets and business intelligence tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
