The team is responsible for global and regional client relationships led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities.
The Role
This large automotive client of the agency has a portfolio of leading brands, including well known passenger and commercial vehicles. The different brands are supported by specific global teams.
The global team’s role is to help the local markets build the client's brand and sell more cars, more profitably. This is done through a focus on market leading planning, data-led strategy, digital excellence, a KPI-centric approach, and partnering with all stakeholders in transparent and collaborative way.
The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that provide these actionable insights to drive strategic decisions for the client. You will play a pivotal role in transforming their raw data into a clean, consumable and aesthetic format.
Your expertise will empower your team and the client to effectively utilise data for optimising media strategies, improving campaign performance, and delivering exceptional output and results. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust BI solutions that align with business goals and meet client expectations.
You will have the ability to leverage data to drive client success and maintain a competitive edge in the fast-paced media landscape.
This is a fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and optimize Power BI data models, visuals, reports and solutions to meet business and client requirements.
Work closely with the BI team and wider team, including directors, BI Managers, Data Engineering and other Power BI Developers to understand the data needs and solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and client services, to support data-driven initiatives and optimize media campaigns.
Develop and maintain processes to integrate data from various sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms.
Document BI processes, solutions, and best practices for future reference and training purposes.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of Power BI.
Stay up-to-date with industry / Power BI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media analytics to enhance performance outputs and provide recommended improvements.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, working with large and complex datasets in fast paced environments.
Proven experience with data cleansing, modelling, DAX and visualisation.
Proven experience with RLS & access.
Good understanding of the Power BI Service.
Strong focus on the UX / UI design when building dashboards and reports.
Good understanding of the media landscape, including digital marketing, content performance, and campaigns.
Proven SQL skills alongside knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Able to successfully and accurately analyse large datasets and derive meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.
Strong communication with stakeholders and teams, who have varied levels of technical knowledge.
You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with timelines.
