Contract opportunity skilled Power BI Developer with expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions, transforming raw data into insightful reports and dashboards, and managing data integration and analytical models.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:
β’ Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
β’ Build data models, DAX queries, and calculated measures to support business reporting needs.
β’ Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
β’ Implement row-level security (RLS) and access control in Power BI Service.
β’ Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
β
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services):
β’ Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
β’ Work with large datasets to perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
β’ Automate data pipelines and schedule jobs for data refresh using SSIS.
β’ Monitor and optimize ETL performance and data movement across systems.
β
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services):
β’ Design and develop OLAP cubes and Tabular models for analytical reporting.
β’ Optimize SSAS models for high performance and efficient querying.
β’ Implement MDX/DAX queries for advanced analytics.
β’ Manage security and user access controls for SSAS models.

General Data & BI Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in BI reports, data integration, and analytical models.
β’ Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS features.

Qualifications & Skills:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
β’ 5 + years of experience in Power BI development.
β’ Strong expertise in SSIS, SSAS (Tabular & Multidimensional models), SQL Server, and T-SQL.
β’ Proficiency in DAX, MDX, and SQL query optimization.
β’ Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.) is a plus.
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
β’ Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize BI solutions.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
