JOB TITLE: Developer/Programmer Analyst 3

LOCATION: 100% Remote (Within the United States)

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Client requires the services of 1 Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development, as outlined below.

The Candidate(s) will be responsible for planning, developing, testing, and documenting computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. They will evaluate user requests for new or modified programs (e.g., for financial systems, clinical research, statistical studies, etc.) to determine feasibility, costs, time requirements, and system compatibility. Candidates will also consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives, formulating plans and using methodologies like structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.

Projects for this Developer Include:

  1. PowerBI Development Cycle

  2. Transform existing dashboards from EPP-facing to public-facing by:
    • Consulting users on existing data sources, functionality, and deployment procedures.
    • Identifying the best solution for creating public-facing dashboards from secure data.
    • Planning, developing, and testing the extraction, loading, and deployment of data between databases and PowerBI dashboards.
    • Deploying the solution to production.
    • Integrating user feedback to improve the final product.
    • Developing documentation for ongoing maintenance and dashboard updates.

  3. EPP Map Creation in PowerBI

  4. Create a new map in PowerBI based on an existing ArcGIS map by:
    • Consulting users on existing data sources and deployment procedures for the ArcGIS map.
    • Developing the PowerBI map.
    • Integrating user feedback to improve the final product.
    • Developing documentation for ongoing maintenance.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:
• 8 years of experience with PowerBI (or other dashboard applications)
• 8 years of experience with SAS
• 4 years of experience with Data Gateways
• 4 years of experience with SQL
• 4 years of experience with Creating and Maintaining Documentation
• 2 years of experience with SmartSheets
• 2 years of experience with ArcGIS
• 4 years of experience with Relational Databases (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience with Education Data (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience with State of Texas Agency (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience with Ed-Fi Data Standard (Preferred)

TERMS OF SERVICE
• Start Date: 03/17/2025
• End Date: 08/31/2025
• Total Hours: Up to 760 hours
• Extension: Service may be amended, renewed, or extended with written agreement from both parties.

WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
• Services are to be provided during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays).
• The work location is 100% remote within the United States. Any travel expenses will be at the Candidate's or Vendor's expense, with pre-approved written authorization for any out-of-state travel.
• Work may be required outside normal business hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with pre-approval for work over 40 hours.
