Power BI Developer

Salary: $61.75 to $71.50 hourly

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a PowerBI Developer in Schaumburg, Illinois. The PowerBI Developer will play a crucial role in our team, focusing on creating and managing PowerBI reports and dashboards, executing data migration, and fostering relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

​

Responsibilities

   • Develop and manage PowerBI dashboards and reports to facilitate business operations

   • Execute PowerBI migrations to ensure data accuracy and integrity

   • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver on their requirements

   • Collaborate with external vendors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth operations

   • Utilize SQL for database management and data manipulation tasks

   • Leverage skills in Microsoft PowerBI and Qlik for effective data visualization and reporting

   • If experienced, apply knowledge of Dynamics/ERP in relevant tasks and projects

   • Demonstrate strong communication skills in all interactions and tasks

   • If familiar, use Qlik for enhanced data analysis and visualization.

Requirements

   • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and client interactions

   • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI tools to efficiently develop and manage BI solutions

   • Experience in Data Migration to ensure smooth transition and integration of data sources

   • Ability to create interactive dashboards to visualize and interpret data effectively

   • Expertise in developing reporting dashboards for presentation of data analysis results

   • Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL for database management and operations

   • Familiarity with Qlik for creating and managing visualizations, reports, and dashboards
