iO Associates are working with an established and growing Tech consultancy who are looking for a BI Consultant to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract basis
They are an award-winning agency that specialise in data analytics, insight and systems. They help brands build impactful messaging, engage their audiences, and drive measurable results through strategic PR, content, and digital campaigns
They primarily work with not-for-profit and charities, however are diversifying into the financial and travel sectors
Working as part of the BI function, you will be responsible for developing the reporting data visualisation and data storytelling function with a key focus on delivering requirements for clients. The role will involve working on client projects both as a consultant to identify the core KPIs and as a BI expert to ensure the client has access to the KPIs in a format that is most usable for them to take business action.
What they are looking for:
• Knowledge of various BI systems
• Knowledge of SQL Server, databases and other sources where data can be fed into the BI solution, such as Google Analytics
• Strong and demonstrable experience of working with Tableau or other similar BI solution providers such as Power BI
• Excellent knowledge of database structures and data manipulation software such as SQL
• Consultancy skills to identify the core KPIs for the client
• Knowledge of digital analytics and other data sources which needs to be fed into the BI solution
• Desire to learn and apply data visualisation methodologies and principles
