Join our dynamic team as a Senior DevOps Engineer and leverage your AWS expertise to drive innovation in an onsite, local to Miami, contract role. There is a possibility to convert to full time role. This is your chance to work on high-impact projects and shape the future of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

   • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure

   • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or other, using GitOps

   • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity

   • Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance

   • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices

   • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and DevOps technologies

Qualifications and Skills:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

   • Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience, with at least 3 years specifically in AWS

   • Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.

   • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

   • Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform or CDK

   • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

   • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices

   • Understanding of network security, IAM, and compliance in the cloud

   • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:

   • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or similar certification

   • Experience with agile methodologies

   • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch or similar observability tools

   • Understanding of data backup and recovery in AWS

   • Familiarity with serverless computing

   • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
