Job Description
The Planning and Inventory Analyst supports integrated planning and customer fulfillment teams. This role is responsible for identifying food inventory requirements at co-manufacturers, ensuring excess food is returned to warehouses, and optimizing inventory for customer orders. The analyst will work closely with Supply Planners, Customer Fulfilment, and Deployment to analyze data, create reports, and recommend strategies for inventory improvement and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Create Purchase Orders based on production requirements to send food to 3rd Party Co-Manufacturers to meet demand and production forecasts.
Modify Purchase Orders to ensure 3rd Party Co-Manufactured SKUs are deployed to appropriate warehouses to meet days of supply targets and demand forecasts.
Track excess WIP and Finished Goods inventory at 3rd Party Co-Manufacturers and ensure timely deployment to warehouses.
Escalate any potential disruptions in inventory availability.
Analyze customer orders and identify batches to fill orders in accordance with customer-specific requirements for minimum shelf life remaining.
Prepare inventory reports, identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
Use data analysis to develop strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
3 years of experience in Customer Service, Accounts Receivables, Logistics, Land Freight, or Sea Freight.
Experience in data collection planning, analysis, reporting, and project leadership.
Functional knowledge of supply chain processes such as Production Planning, Inventory, and Deployment.
Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
6 years of experience in Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Logistics.
Work Environment
The position follows a Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
