Job Title: Oracle Cloud Finance Tech Lead/Architect
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and configure financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Tax Management.
• Align system architecture with financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and customize financial dashboards for budget tracking, encumbrance monitoring, and expense approvals.
• Utilize Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI for reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot ticketing issues around payroll and develop reports requiring coding.
• Manage and streamline financial reporting structures, including chart of accounts, approval groups, and value sets.
• Assist in closing periods, troubleshooting issues between GL, projects, and grants.
• Resolve discrepancies in encumbrances and funds availability and manage year-end carryforwards and period close processes.
• Troubleshoot budgetary control dashboard discrepancies.
Top Required Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials development.
• Strong coding capabilities with a deep financial background.
• Expertise in SQL reporting, OTBI.
• Experience in managing hierarchies, approval groups, and finance rules.
• Experience in developing complex financial reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services.
• VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) experience.
• Strong PL/SQL knowledge, including APTP (Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Procurement) table structures.
• Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for functional and technical finance-related issues.
• Experience in APEX development (highly preferred).
• Expertise in integration with web services and APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, JQuery, HTML, JavaScript.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with EPM implementation.
• Familiarity with PaaS services in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Ability to develop solutions from scratch with APEX, ATS, ATP, PL/SQL.
