Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer in Wilmington, MA. Responsibilities:
• Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer will design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud infrastructure components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services
• Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency
• As an Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with application development teams to architect solutions that leverage Oracle Cloud services effectively
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to Oracle Cloud offerings
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients on Oracle Cloud architecture and implementation
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience of DevSecOps/Platform Engineering
• 5+ years of proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, on Oracle Cloud
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database offerings
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
• Proficient authoring scripts in one or more programming languages
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
