Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Reporting Specialist to join our consulting team. This role involves designing and implementing advanced analytics and reporting solutions using Oracle FDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, BICC, and OCI Data Integration (OCI DI). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) and a deep understanding of data extraction, transformation, and visualization in Oracle Cloud environments.

You will work closely with clients to gather business requirements, architect reporting solutions, and deliver insightful analytics that support strategic decision-making across enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand and gather reporting and analytics requirements across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and SCM modules.

Design, develop, and deploy analytical dashboards and KPIs using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Data Visualization.

Build custom subject areas, semantic models, and data visualizations in FDI to support business-specific use cases.

Develop advanced and pixel-perfect reports using BI Publisher, including scheduling, bursting, and data extracts.

Create and manage ad hoc and embedded reports using OTBI, and guide clients on self-service reporting best practices.

Extract data from Oracle Fusion Cloud using Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) and automate secure file transfers for downstream consumption.

Leverage OCI Data Integration (OCI DI) to design, orchestrate, and monitor data pipelines between Oracle Fusion, FDI, data lakes, or external targets.

Validate and reconcile data extracted from Fusion applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and performance.

Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders, including finance, HR, supply chain, and IT teams, to ensure alignment on reporting goals.

Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for report development and analytics tools.

Keep up with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and the FDI roadmap to identify opportunities for enhancements and optimization.

Support pre-sales efforts including PoCs, solution design, and client presentations when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

5–10 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Applications with a focus on reporting, analytics, and data extraction.

Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Data Visualization.

Experience working with Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) for full and incremental data extraction from Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Hands-on expertise in building and managing data pipelines using OCI Data Integration (OCI DI) or similar ETL tools.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion data models across ERP (Financials, Procurement), HCM (Core HR, Payroll), and SCM.

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and Oracle Cloud data security models.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business and technical users.

Oracle certifications in FDI, BI Publisher, or Oracle Cloud Reporting tools are preferred.

Consulting experience and ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Willingness to travel occasionally for client workshops or project needs.
