OBIEE + Snowflake with SCM

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled OBIEE + Snowflake professional with expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, database design, and data warehousing. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics tools and technologies to drive insights and improve decision-making processes within the organization.
Duties

Develop and maintain OBIEE reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for SCM operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data analysis.
Design and implement data models in Snowflake to support complex analytical queries.
Utilize linked data concepts to enhance data integration across various sources.
Perform database design activities, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the data warehouse.
Analyze large datasets using Python and Java to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to supply chain processes.
Work with Apache Hive and Spark for big data processing and analytics tasks.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing reports for efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience with OBIEE reporting tools and Snowflake data warehousing solutions.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
Proficiency in linked data concepts, analytics, database design, and data warehouse methodologies.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java for data analysis tasks.
Experience working with big data technologies including Apache Hive and Spark is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
