Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote MLops Engineer to join their team. From an ML standpoint, this is a brand new team. The MLops Engineer will also be doing some java/API work with PCF Migration to GCP/GKE. This will be a hybrid role focusing on backend java, quarkus, GCP along with ML and python (some pure ML and MLops). Responsibilities:

   • Work on failure detection models to analyze and resolve issues in post-sale operations

   • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to integrate models into production

   • Hands-on development in Java, JKE, Cassandra

   • Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and MLOps

   • Support PCF to GKE migration

   • Transition applications from Spring Boot to Quarkus

   • Deploy solutions on GCP

Requirements

   • Open to a mid or senior experience

   • Strong problem-solver and excited to learn

   • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

   • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
