Marketing Data Analyst - Principal Data Analyst
Our well-known healthcare client is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst.
This Role Is
• Fully Remote
• 40 hours/week
• Starts as soon as the right candidate is found, and will last through 8/31/25, with potential to extend.
This is an exciting role for someone who is highly analytical, strategic, and data driven with their decision making. This role will leverage advanced analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to uncover customer insights, enhance segmentation and predict key behaviors to drive engagement and conversion.
Primary Responsibilities Of This Role
• Create predictive models and consumer segmentation models using demographic, psychographic, econometric, and statistical data to enable personalized modeling. The client has some existing models that need to be moved into a new environment and uploaded with a new 3rd party data source.
• The role will collaborate closely with marketing, product and data engineering to ensure data accuracy, design impactful experiments and develop models that inform targeting, personalization and campaign optimization. You will collaborate with marketing stakeholders to optimize campaigns, apply customer segmentation and drive personalized strategies
• Undertake rigorous data analysis to extract and distill key population insights that will be used for marketing, product and client relations.
• Work with imperfect data; navigate and analyze complex, incomplete and unreliable data sources, self serve analysis, audience segmentation and predictive modeling
• Investigate discrepancies in marketing data sets, troubleshoot anomalies, and collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data reliability and accessibility
• Identify trends in member behavior and engagement
The Ideal Candidate
• Problem-solving mindset; excited to work in a complex, messy data environment, solving ambiguous problems and translating analytics into actionable insights. Not taking no for an answer, and willing to find compromise and drive toward uncovering a solution.
• Ability to work in data bricks and experience at building Machine Learning (ML) models is required
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Experience in data pipeline development
• Familiar with Cloud Services and working with data bricks
• Experience with programming language and proficiency in data pipeline development
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining data models that are tailored for marketing analytic use cases
• Proficiency in Python or SQL database querying experience and data manipulation/preparation
