We’re looking for a freelance data engineer to help us design and build an in-house data warehouse and marketing analytics pipeline. The expected project duration is 3 to 6 months.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of data engineering, marketing/media data integration, and dashboard optimization. If you have experience building scalable, stable, and cost-effective reporting solutions for digital marketing data, we’d love to work with you.
In This Role, You Can Expect To
• Design and implement a scalable data pipeline that centralizes marketing and media data from multiple sources.
• Develop an in-house data warehouse solution to replace external tools like SuperMetrics, improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Work with marketing and analytics teams to ensure the pipeline supports consistent and accurate reporting.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, GA4, etc.).
• Optimize dashboard reporting and ensure seamless integration with visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations for long-term data infrastructure improvement.
📚 What do You Need?
• Proven experience in data engineering and ETL development, preferably within marketing or media analytics.
• Expertise in SQL and familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data automation.
• Experience working with marketing data sources (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, programmatic platforms, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data storage and warehouse solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
• Ability to optimize and maintain scalable data pipelines that reduce manual upkeep.
• Experience with SuperMetrics or other third-party marketing data connectors is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on a project-based timeline.
Important note: if you think you have what it takes to be a great in this role but don't necessarily meet all of these qualifications, please still apply! While we work hard to eliminate unnecessary requirements from our job ads, our teams and needs are constantly evolving, and we'd always love the opportunity to connect and see what might be a fit.
