Machine Learning Engineer

Could you be a good fit? We are looking for the best, highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join the team of our exceptional client located in the greater Portland area. This is a fully remote role.

• What will your day look like? As a Machine Learning Engineer you will:Implement and design machine learning algorithms and models. Optimize models for scalability and performance.
• Develop training processes that scale to large text and imaging datasets.
• Work with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems in embedded systems and the cloud.
• Implement and develop data preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists to analyze and identify data requirements.
• You will be a good fit for the Machine Learning Engineer role if you have:4 plus years of proven experience in machine learning delivering solutions into production
• Strong programming skills in Python, Spark, and evidence of experience with other languages
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Experience with ML tech stacks including MLflow, Amazon AWS, Databricks, containerization technologies such as Docker
• High level of comfort with Linus and experience with SQL
• Experience optimizing model performance on CPUs, GPUs- embedded hardware optimization a plus but not required
