Role Description
This is a contract position for a startup company that can transition to full time, hybrid role for a Lead Engineer located in Greater Sacramento. You may work from home with regular visits to meet with the team at our main office. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers located all over the world, overseeing the deployment of AI-powered tools, and ensuring the quality and performance of the software. Daily tasks include collaborating on designing system architectures, coding, code reviews, and project management. Improve workflows and organization, dictate effective development cycles to the team and QA/QC their work.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in System Architecture Design and Software Development
• Proficient working in an Azure Environment
• Experience in Leadership and Project Management
• Strong knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts and tools
• Expertise in Coding and Code Reviews
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in the AI or Data Science industry is a plus
++Big Plus if you have Azure DevOps Experience and Kubernetes Experience
