About the Role
As a Lead Database Analyst, you will design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will define database architecture, standards, and procedures while supporting application development projects. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, maintain technical documentation, and ensure data integrity.
Duration: 6+ Months (Extendable) / Onsite / 1099 / C2C
Location: Fenton, Missouri, United States (No Remote Work)
Responsibilities
• Supports application development projects by leading in the creation of standards and procedures related to database management systems
• Plan and manage capacity of database management systems
• Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as DB design, DB layout, DB structures, DB stored procedures, DB tables, DB optimization
• Maintaining detailed technical documentation
• Leads efforts to define database strategy, architecture, standards and procedures to preserve the integrity and security of company data resources
• Troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required
• Join our Database Platform team as a Lead Analyst and design, implement, and maintain the systems that are instrumental in our business functions
Required Skills
• Extensive experience with SQL Server, including database design, layout, structures, stored procedures, tables, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of database strategy, architecture, and security standards.
• Ability to plan and manage database capacity for scalable performance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in SQL Server environments.
• Experience in documenting technical processes and best practices.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a Database Platform team.
