Role description

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in computer science, mathematics, or statistics. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in developing and implementing advanced data science solutions.

Responsibilities:

   • Develop and implement advanced data science solutions to drive business growth and innovation

   • Design and execute exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets

   • Develop and deploy natural language processing (NLP) models to extract insights from unstructured data

   • Design, train, and validate machine learning (ML) models to predict outcomes and drive business decisions

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and integrate with existing systems

   • Work with large datasets, including sensor data, to develop predictive models and identify trends

   • Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate insights and results to stakeholders

   • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

Required Skills:

   • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on EDA, NLP, ML model development, validation, and implementation

   • Experience working with sensor data, cyber security, or IoT is highly desirable

   • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL

   • Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

   • Experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Stanford CoreNLP

   • Strong data visualization skills, with experience using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js

   • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams

   • Strong business acumen, with ability to drive business outcomes and communicate insights to stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

   • Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

   • Experience with containerization using Docker

   • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
