Role: Data Insights Lead Developer

Location: Mclean, VA - Remote ok – EST Preferred

10 PLUS years of experience in building and maintaining business intelligence solutions including data warehouse and ETL pipelines in data-intensive organizations

Cloud database systems including 3+ years with Snowflake

Hands-on reporting experience leveraging Business Intelligence tools such as Looker, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc

Developing data visualization dashboards with drill-down reporting

Developing data models and data structures for datawarehouse to support optimized user experience with BI dashboards and reports

Proficiency in writing and performance tuning complex SQL queries

Able to build data integrations and ingestion pipelines for streaming and batch data

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google

Design and develop data insights solutions involving Snowflake and Looker

Collaborate with product manager, architect and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data insights

Develop and deploy business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across organization

Design and develop LookML Models, Explore, Dashboards and Workflows in Looker

Deep understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and database technologies and database security practices

Experience in designing database logical and physical schema design including logical and physical database schema designs for large scale, highly available and mission-critical application systems

Preferred

Background in healthcare data especially patient centric clinical data and provider data is a plus

Proficiency in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT etc.,

Experience in Business Intelligence solution using Google Looker is a huge plus
