Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java API Engineer in Westlake, TX. Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale applications supporting Wealth Experience managed accounts. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing cloud-based solutions, and driving automation to enhance efficiency and user experience. Requirements

   • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale web and back-office applications

   • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing web services (REST) using Java frameworks such as Spring MVC and Spring Boot

   • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins

   • Proficiency with AWS services for deploying and managing applications in the cloud

   • Exposure to Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred

   • Familiarity with database frameworks like DynamoDB, Oracle, MSDB

   • Proven problem-solving abilities and application of software engineering best practices (e.g., design patterns, process improvements, test frameworks, CI systems)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
