IT Migration Data Analyst Support
Work Location: Remote (EST preferred)
The client is transitioning their adjudication platform from an external vendor to an internally developed system. To support this migration, they have allocated a significant number of internal resources to the project. However, they require additional personnel to assist with the workload and to take on tasks that their internal teams are unable to complete.
Work with business and technology partners (e.g., Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, considering non-functional requirements.
Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.
Participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes and other requirements work products.
Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.
Provide operational and process-related analysis and support.
Work with vendors to support business case development (consistent with technology requirements and guidelines) including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements.
Required:
Previous experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Experience with Azure Data Factory
Strong in SQL and SAS coding
Experience working with data migration, migration planning and gap analysis
Effective and persuasive presentation skills (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders
Experience with MS Office, strong with MS Excel
PBM Background
Strong technical knowledge and experience working in Software Development teams
Proficiency in data profiling techniques, methodologies and tools to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
Strong SQL skills
Proficient in various tools such as JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
A solid understanding of the Agile methodologies and SDLC
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $54.00 - $60.00 per hour
