

Intermediate Analyst - Enterprise Data Services
Responsibilities
A client with Kforce is seeking an Intermediate Analyst - Enterprise Data Services to join their team in Altamonte Springs, FL. Overview: The Intermediate Analyst in the Enterprise Data Services department is responsible for coordinating with other members of the department to implement projects related to client's data assets. They will receive guidance from their direct leadership and will work in collaboration with designated coworkers. An Intermediate Analyst in the Enterprise Data Services department will work with teams consisting of developers, technical architects, and other development resources to deliver projects on time and of high quality. These resources will leverage Oracle databases, a big data Cloudera environment, cloud computing in Snowflake on Microsoft Azure, real time data streaming and data warehousing. They will build and support tasks related to file ingestion and extraction, file tracking and automation, and the build and maintenance of custom, curated data sets to be shared across multiple internal and distributed development teams. Duties:
• Work with team members across multiple technology areas to perform root-cause analysis, write code, perform testing, provide documentation, and implement assigned development projects
• Adopt best practices in warehouse development, code migration, data security, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Document project requirements where necessary
• Identify data sources, and design/develop processes that ensure data accuracy
• Develop code to summarize data and calculate metrics for executive dashboards and Business Intelligence (BI) applications
• Troubleshoot, tune, and support existing data processes and applications
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent of bachelor's degree) or higher in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Business or Engineering
• Master's degree (or foreign equivalent of master's degree) in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture and data management with experience in data warehouse architecture
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology
• 3+ years of experience with relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Working knowledge of ETL, ELT and other query tools and methodologies including but not limited to tools like Informatica, Toad, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Impala and D-Beaver
• Knowledge of and experience with cloud computing options and implementations including but not limited to Microsoft Azure and Snowflake environments
• Intermediate database development knowledge including performance tuning in Oracle, Big Data, SQL Server, and Cloud (Azure & Snowflake) environments
• Understanding of database design concepts and techniques for OLAP versus OLTP
• Experience following the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge And Skills Preferred
• Healthcare industry experience
• Performance tuning experience in Oracle databases, big data Cloudera environments, cloud computing in Snowflake on Microsoft Azure and other database platforms as required
• Ability to work well with all levels of a complex matrix environment
• Familiarity with the latest software used for front end applications, including but not limited to Power BI, OBIEE, Qlik and Tableau
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
