ETL / Informatica Developer
Long-Term Contract | Remote
Clover Consulting (a Myticas Company) is seeking a skilled ETL/Informatica Developer to support a large direct client. This is a long-term contract opportunity and is fully remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Utilize Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various agency sources.
• Apply required data transformations, corrections, and enhancements as outlined in change requests.
• Automate data staging by scheduling scripts to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Create, maintain, and support an ETL/Informatica architecture across development and production environments.
• Perform repository and domain backups and execute recovery operations as needed.
• Develop ETL jobs by creating mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows.
• Leverage various Informatica transformations including Aggregator, Expression, Filter, Router, Sequence Generator, Update Strategy, Joiner, Rank, Source Qualifier, Lookup, and Sorter.
• Schedule and monitor ETL/Informatica jobs across development, testing, and production environments.
• Develop proactive monitoring processes and performance tuning strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues following release deployments.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data marts in Teradata.
• Participate in project discussions to provide input and recommend alternative technical solutions.
• Contribute to unit, integration, and system testing phases.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Continuously learn new technologies as needed to support evolving project needs.
• Provide regular progress updates and ensure deliverables are met for leadership and clients.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and ETL development.
• 5+ years of experience with complex SQL and performance tuning.
• 2+ years of experience with Teradata (version 14+), including use of Teradata utilities.
• 2+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, and client-facing skills.
• Effective organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to adapt to team and organizational culture.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working with Data Warehousing.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, SAS, or Power BI.
• Experience with scripting in Windows, Unix/Linux, R, or Python.
• Familiarity with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Address Doctor, and Metadata Manager.
• Experience with state Medicaid, Medicare, or other healthcare-related applications.
• Relevant certifications in ETL/Informatica, SQL, BI, or Teradata.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Knowledge of ETL/data integration, business intelligence, and both relational and multi-dimensional database systems.
