Job Overview:

We are looking for a Scala Developer with expertise in Spark, Java, and Apache Iceberg to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, experience in healthcare payer systems, and the ability to optimize Spark applications for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data processing applications using Scala and Spark.
• Optimize Spark applications for performance and scalability.
• Work with clinical data and healthcare payer systems to develop data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement best practices for data processing, storage, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and application performance issues.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience in Scala and Spark (8-10 years).
• Proven expertise in designing and developing large-scale data processing applications.
• Experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Understanding of CCDA & FHIR standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
