

Healthcare Data Migration Analyst
Job Title: Systems Analyst 3 (Data Migration / Cerner Millennium)

Job Description
We are seeking two highly experienced Systems Analysts to support a large-scale data migration project from legacy EHR systems to a modern cloud-based SaaS solution. This position involves scripting, data extraction, analysis, documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Migration & Scripting
• Lead the migration of data from legacy EHR systems (Oracle Cerner Millennium) to new SaaS platforms.
• Write and execute scripts to extract and transform data, including HL7 formatted data.
• Testing & Validation
• Create unit test scripts, execute testing scenarios, and debug issues to ensure accuracy and data integrity in the new system.
• Communication & Reporting
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders using ticketing systems and presentations.
• Post-Migration Support
• Deliver end-user training, support optimization strategies, and maintain system documentation.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure design and implementation follow organizational standards, including data validation and auditing processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in:
• Data migration, data mapping, and data cleansing within EHR systems.
• Oracle Cerner Millennium, including Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripting.
• Business and systems analysis, including automating and enhancing existing systems.
• EHR workflows, application design, and process flow documentation.
• Developing detailed specifications and resolving complex data issues.
• Communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Architectural principles, tools, and IT industry trends.
• Leading technical teams in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with:
• SaaS-based EHR systems and cloud migrations.
• Agile Scrum methodology and project delivery frameworks.
• Regulatory compliance and data security in healthcare.
• Information architecture and management best practices.
Work Details:
• Location: Onsite in Austin, TX (no remote option).
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Duration: May 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025 (864 hours max).
