• Diagnose and eliminate performance bottlenecks in a massive-scale GCP environment.
• Design and implement cost-saving strategies without sacrificing speed or reliability.
• Collaborate with top engineers to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Leverage powerful cloud monitoring tools (Google Cloud Operations Suite, Prometheus, Grafana) to track and optimize system health.
• Optimize database performance across Google Cloud SQL, Bigtable, and BigQuery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Run performance tests using JMeter, Gatling, and Locust to identify and fix issues before they impact users.
• Automate monitoring and optimization tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure security best practices around IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, architecture, and cost optimization.
• Strong Java skills with experience in high-performance environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE) & Docker in a production setting.
• Deep knowledge of networking (VPC, CDN, load balancing) and cloud security.
• Experience with cloud performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• A problem-solving mindset—you love tackling complex engineering challenges at scale.
