POSITION: GCP Cloud Engineer
LOCATION: 100% Remote
PAY RANGE: $64.00 - 68.00 per hour
DURATION: 6-Months Contract + Extensions (+Permanent Conversion Available)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years of experience with GCP.
• Proficiency in Google BigQuery and Big Data.
• Background in SAP Finance Module,
• Experience with ThoughtSpot and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Understanding of PII, PHI, and PCI data security requirements.
• Ability to operate on POC projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a background in SAP financials. This role involves developing and implementing new solutions, interfacing with various tools, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Big Query & Big Data: Utilize Big Query and Big Data technologies to manage and analyze large datasets.
• SAP Financials: Understand and read SAP financial tables to regenerate reports in GCP.
• Documentation: Document processes and solutions, ensuring comprehensive and clear documentation.
• Interface with SAC: Integrate and interface with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting purposes.
• ThoughtSpot Integration: Leverage ThoughtSpot's AI capabilities to enhance data querying and analysis, utilizing Python for backend processes.
• POC Operations: Operate on Proof of Concept (POC) projects, each lasting 90 days, focusing on new development.
• Teams Collaboration: Participate in Teams calls to perform specific data extraction tasks as requested.
• Client Profitability Recovery: Manage applications related to client profitability recovery, ensuring efficient handling of trashed products returned to stores.
• Data Security: Ensure columns containing PII, PHI, and PCI data are secure, collaborating with the security team.
Compensation:
$64.00 - $68.00 per hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
