Role description

Job Title: Fullstack Data Engineer

Location: 100% remote

Job Type: Long-term contract

Job Description:

   • Should have 15+ years of IT experience and 12+ years of expereince in Data Engineering

   • A Full Stack Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data management systems.

   • They are proficient in all stages of data processing, from collection and storage to processing, analysis, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop highly scalable and reliable data pipelines to ingest and process data in real time.

  1. Build data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational and analytical applications.

  1. Implement complex analytical projects with a focus on collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing data.

  1. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

  1. Ensure that data architecture supports business requirements.

  1. Optimize data delivery and develop monitoring and validation tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  1. Experiment with new tools and technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  1. Manage and optimize the data warehouse and ensure data compliance with privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

  1. Proven experience as a data engineer, software developer, or similar role.

  1. Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and various ETL tools.

  1. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Java.

  1. Experience in big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) and data pipeline tools.

  1. Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js, etc.)

  1. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  1. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  1. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
