Location – Remote
Contract 12+ month
Responsibilities:
• Implement scalable solutions using FoundationDB
• Maintain high availability in distributed systems.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data consistency.
• Setting up test cluster environment, benchmarking, visualizing results, tracing, debugging, and making code changes.
• Collaborate with others in a research and development environment, participate in executive speaker series, and showcase effective problem-solving skills. Researching experiences in quantum computing, quantum simulation, quantum chemistry, quantum information or related areas.
Essential skills / experience:
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable distributed systems
• 4+ years of experience with FoundationDB
• Working experience with programming languages of C++ (Go would be added benefit)
• Experience in cloud deployment and monitoring technologies, such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of classical compilation techniques such as LLVM or similar (LLVM, GCC, etc.)
• Knowledge: AWS, Security, Privacy
• Required Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Security
