Job Description:
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with expertise in data transformation, PySpark, and pipeline development to drive end-to-end solutions for complex data challenges. This role requires a strong foundation in object modeling, streaming architectures, and scalable data processing, with the ability to work as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the telecom and network domain is a plus.
As an FDE, you will work directly with customers to design, implement, and deploy mission-critical applications leveraging Palantir Foundry and other data platforms. You will bridge the gap between engineering and business needs, rapidly developing scalable solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and big data frameworks.
• Implement object models and transformations to enable seamless data integration.
• Architect and deploy streaming solutions for real-time data processing.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Independently own and execute end-to-end development, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Optimize data workflows and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide proactive communication, keeping stakeholders informed on project progress and technical solutions.
• (Preferred) Leverage telecom and network domain expertise to build industry-specific solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience in Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and big data transformations.
• Expertise in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of object modeling, data structures, and schema management.
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, etc.).
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, with fast turnaround times.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks.
• (Preferred) Experience in telecom and network analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD automation.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics.
